They're just a few days older than the ones I posted above. I got mine on march 4thMy aunt got the chicks from tractor supply on February 29th!
Thank you for the picture example! I appreciate your time in helping me figure it out!No, they're 9 weeks then. Still thinking males. Heres an example of my pullets combs at 9 weeks old. Still very small and no red
I thought they looked too different to both be sebrights also, do you think they are both cockerel?I’m not so sure about both being sebrights... I would agree that you definitely have a sebright cockerel, but the other doesn’t appear to have the lacing at all and has what looks to be solid iridescent feathers in the tail... I’m by no means an expert but that’s my opinion.![]()
Not sure on hazarding a guess on the other, especially without knowing what breed... my first thought was OEGB but I have pretty much zero experience with them so I don’t know. Haha. Although in most breeds it’s the fellas that are going to be the ones sporting the pretty colors for the most part, so hard to say.I thought they looked too different to both be sebrights also, do you think they are both cockerel?
They are both roostersThe lighter one is the pullet and the other is the cockerel. I also think they are Seabrights
