What kind of bird is the little guy??

But is it actually hurt, or does the OP think it is just because it is a fledgling who can't yet fly? I have also seen many people declare a perfectly sound fledgling as injured, just because it was making attempts to fly and not succeeding.
 
Okay we dropped her off to the Wildlife place Sunday evening and the woman said she was a Young Mocking Bird so the woman took her out of our hands and thanked us for dropping her off
 
Wow! Sure looked like a juvenile starling in the photo! But babies of many different species can look remarkably similar, so... live and learn.

Weird, I was thinking mockingbird or close relative due to large eyes, eye bar, curved beak, and heavy 'whiskers', but all the photos that popped up showed mockingbird chicks as having white on the wings and speckled breasts, and it looked like your little bird is more of a solid grey?
