What kind of chick is this?

Sorry, no pictures.

I was a TSC tonight, just checking to see what chicks they had in. So they have one bin of RIR and one of mystery chicks. I ask an employee what breed they were, her reply was "pullets" is all they told us. So, now I am intrigued.

They were a soft white/cream with random black specks, not a heavy scattering of specks. Any ideas?

Also, disappointed to find that my TSC is now requiring a 6 chick purchase, BOO!

I think it might be a California white or something like that. It's a cross between a white leghorn and a california gray. Great egg layer!
