What kind of chick is this?

Yup, looks like a partridge something, mine was that color with feathered legs and is a Partridge Cochin rooster. The funny thing is, partridge cochins are not on the exotic/rare list , are they?

It kinda looks like the RIR Bantam on McMurry site, not sure of the leg color though. on the site the chick legs look pinkish kinda but Adult looks yellow for some reason, your chicks legs look like they might be turning yellow? Hmmmm Kinda looks like they are trying to be yellow in the 3 and 4th pictures but that may just be my monitor, can you look and see and let us know leg color?

Pretty sure its a Fayoumis. I got a mixed group from McMurray in June and there was only one, small chocolate colored chick. They are supposed to be critically endangered. My now has the "roadrunner" look. They are a small breed.

i would say Red Cap with all those rich mahogany feathers, but I don't think Red Cap chicks are that dark when they hatch. I'm pretty sure they're more buff-rusty colored than mahogany at the start. Plus they dont have single combs
