This was labeled as a Austrolorp Pullet, but I am wondering what exactly this bird is.
14-16 weeks old, long bodied, blueish feet and single comb, that is still alittle flesh colored. Although you cant see it in the pictures, there are some breakthrough lavender feathers on his/her back. Mostly white. Is there such a thing as a White Austrolorp? Or could this be an EE mixed with a leghorn? The eyes are yellow, not dark like they appear in the picture.

Sorry, can't help with the id, but wanted to say

On a positive note, they at least got the "pullet" part of the description correct! Don't think there is a white Australorp. Yours has the wrong body type anyhow. My Delaware chick turned out to be a White Leghorn, but we are happy with her. I like the blue legs on your girl. Maybe you could start a new breed!

Thank you so much for you reply. Yeah she is a bit flighty like a leghorn, and just does not like to be picked up inspite of my daily interaction with her. I was reading about a French breed that is White, red and blue like my girl, so maybe she is related to that breed. The American version!
Just in time for the 4th of July!

Well, I did a little research and there is White Australorp! Am unclear whether they have made it to the states yet, but it might be worth looking into. Possible????

interesting looking bird! Where are you located? (this really does factor in when trying to guess types of chickens someone has...) have you tried going back to the Tractor Supply and finding out what hatchery/source they got their birds from during the time period you got her?

That's a great idea, I will ask them. We are in smokey Colorado Springs. Spraying down the chicken run trying to cool off the girls a bit. It got up to 101 today and the smoke is just horrible, too hot to keep them in the coop. Hopefully the Waldo fire will burn itself out soon. :/
