The buttercup comb is basically two single combs, that form a cup shape. Not what is happening with your chicks.

That is very similar. Someone might have crossed a seabright with a black chicken. I had seabrights a long time ago. These are my first chickens since 2005. I forgot how much that I enjoyed them.

I had a seabright Roo he was a crazy Roo!! Finally had to get rid of him he started flogging Jackie beautiful bird but loud and brash little Bantam!
