I was going off the dark skin and the little residual crest. I also thought if you start with a silkie's comb and cross it out enough--to lose the leg feathering and most other characteristics--you'd wind up with something like this. You don't think there's any back there a few generations? I guess he maybe could have Polish for the crest..I have no idea how their combs cross though.I don't see any silkie in him.

His comb looks very like that of a redcap. I see no signs of a peacomb gene.
