What kind of duck is this?

I'm not currently home and this is the only picture of the duck that I have. My family was contacted this morning from a neighbor asking if the duck was mine, it's not but we are the only house on the street with ducks. So we are going to catch it and see if (I'm assuming it's a male) he gets along with my lady ducks. If so I will keep him, otherwise we will bring him to the rescue farm in the next town over.

So now that there is some back story I'd like to know if anyone can tell me the breed and if it is in fact male?
I was told it has brown feet and a brown bill. My father said he went over and tried to catch it but it was super fast and that it stands tall and skinny. (Sounds like a runner of some sort to me)
The neighbor said it's very loud but my dad said it barely made a peep while he was there.

hmmm, he may be a runner if he stands tall. i cannot see if he is a drake because the pic is not on the side. i am not a duck breed expert, but he may be a runner of some sort.

Yeah. I'm hoping to get a better photo, and if I do I'll post it. Sadly I'm on vacation so I won't be able to see it in person until I get back. When I saw the picture I thought maybe either khaki Campbell or runner. But like you I'm no expert on duck breeds.

I got an up close from my dad today. It's still not a good picture but better.

Okay great! The only ducks I've ever had are pekins so I'm not too firmiliar with other breeds.
