What kind of ducks did i just buy

my ducks that I've had threw all of there water out of there waterer every day because they kept on getting in it, ( they were 3 weeks ). i gave them i big dish of water and they got in it all of the time and their waterer was still full for days.

it isn't really a good idea to let babies have free access to water to swim in at a young age because they can get cold very quickly. A water container with a lid works very well. Something like a cool whip container with a hole in the lid or a milk jug with a hole cut in the side so the can dip their beaks but not go swimming.

The welsh harlequin seems to be aggressive towards my other ducks including the oldest who is about 2 1\2 weeks . the orhers including the Welsh I got today from tsc . I will they calm down ? Is he just trying to establish pecking order ?

Mine was pretty mean for a while to her buddies but she was also the smallest. She calmed down but I also took that as a sign that they need more room.
