These look like young African Geese.
Not sure about sexes, males tend to be larger than females but you might not be able to tell until they are closer to being full grown

These look like young African Geese.
Not pilgrims. The female, if a pilgrim, would have some white around her bill and eyes. And the male would have some gray feathers on his wing tips and back.Hi Everyone, I am in need of identifying what type of geese I have. These 2 geese and the 1 duck were given to me by someone that was moving out of state. They have never seen a pond, just having a little tub to splash in, and are scared to stay on our pond. The people said that they had seen eggs but didn't know which one (or both) were laying and never saw any goslings. I am keeping my fingers crossed for what breed I'm hoping they are, but need more experienced goose people to help me out.
Thanks

I'd say the 2 in front are probably a mix the one in the back looks to be maybe full Embden or Chinese does the solid white have a very long thin neck? hard to tell in pic or a knob on the bill? Ganders will stand very erect head held high females walk around in normal goose stance head held straight in front. Gander are very high pitched noise, females low pitched totally opposite from ducks. Are these someone's throw away' s . I think most solid white geese have blue eyes, My Embden does. They sure are pretty.
The neighbor tells me one of the homes on the lake had bought 2 geese and they hatched 2 eggs, one of the 4 came up missing so we are left with these 3 roaming between mine and a few of the neighborhood homes. The original owner still feeds them but they have free roam and they own everything LOL! Runner and car go by at their own risk, I've seen them attempt to chase a jogger before! Other than that they are very friendly, just loud mouths and always think we are here to feed them HaHaHa!!! I'll attach another pic to see if it's a better view. I'd say they at least have Embden in them. Gosh they chase cars, they won't last long that way.

To me the front one looks like a gander and the one to the side looks like a goose going by the lobe between the legs and the way its standing.
If i had to guess, id say embden crossed with toulouse. I dont see any chinese characteristics so id say they arent a cross with chinese. In the first pic of the 3 together the one with alot of grey almost looks like a cotton patch but cotton patch have pinkish bills not orange.
You're right, one has a single line and the other 2 have a double lobe. I wasn't sure it meant anything, I know nothing about Geese. To me the front one looks like a gander and the one to the side looks like a goose going by the lobe between the legs and the way its standing.
