Today I bought a gosling at Big R feed store in Wenatchee, WA and was wondering what breed it is.

It's got yellow feet and beak, bright yellow fuzz with a slightly grey back and a top hat on it's head (like a Polish chick). Any idea what I bought?

There's only a little grey spot on the head (you could miss it if you didn't look closely) and the grey is lighter than that. But thank you for the info, I'll look at it just in case.

hmmm.. I would guess he is a mix breed with the tufted gene in him. I hope you find your camera lol.

Yes she (hoping and thinking) is a cutie and sweet as pie. We've all falling in love with her. I couldn't pass her up even though the smell of water fowl in the house is bad, lol.

I still say "she" is a tufted roman...maybe not full blood, but the yellow bill and feet and the shorter bill has me thinking there's roman in "her".

Hate to spoil the game but that is a tufted roman! Mine always looked like that at hatch and greyish in their first feathers. After molt they are white with an occasional dark beauty spot. My all time fav had the beauty spot on his tuff, looked like wearing a hat.
