What kind of predator would eat the feet/legs off of baby rabbits? I have been raising rabbits here for 10 years and lately I have been finding baby rabbits in the cage dead with their feet eaten. That is all. Just the feet.

Do you have mesh bottom cages? My neighbor was having the same problem and he finally figured out it was rats. The babies feet were small enough to go through the hardware cloth while sleeping and the rats were running along the back supports and could reach them.... but I guess it could be anything that could reach the bottom of the cages if they are hardware cloth. I always use a nesting box that has a plywood bottom and high sides so that they can't get out of it until they are big enough that their feet can't fit through the hardware cloth. Hope this helps [IMG]

    Sorry for your loss.
