what kind of rooster do i use?

What sort of rooster should i cross with my red sex link to get a another good egg layer but have a little more/ darker coloring and i also want the off spirng to mature quickly!

I am pretty sure all chickens mature the same and I suggest trying a rhode island red they have a darker coloring and so they chick will most likly be not as dark but a bit darker then the hen
