What kind of rooster is this? Looks more like a New Hampshire...?

Hi! I inherited this cockerel (7 months now), and was told he is an Asian Black rooster. I think he looks an awful lot like a New Hampshire (or even a Marans, but no leg feathers), but would love to hear from some experts! I'm a complete newbie.

New Hampshire Reds have yellow legs, as far I'm aware. He certainly looks mixed. What a stunner.

He might be New Hampshire Red, Dorking mix. He has short legs.

I've seen some debate on whether an Asian Black is even a "breed", or a hatchery invention. There aren't many pictures out there. In the grand scheme of things, doesn't really matter, as we eat the eggs as fast as our hens will lay them.
