What kind of rooster is this?

The guy he came from said he was a black copper maran, but now, he looks more like a barred rock. But, he has feathers on his feet like a copper maran.

that to me looks almost like a speckledy

that is a Cuckoo Maran Crossed with a RIR

its a lovely Hybrid bird that lays many eggs

although yours is a boy so wont lay eggs hehe

one thing i will say is if it has feathers on legs and is a speckledy then its a poor attempt at creating it as speckledy's dont have feathered legs
