What kind of sand is needed for poop boards?

I use concrete/construction sand on everything. Run, coop, boards... it also serves as grit.

I use playsand and easy to get at Home Depot or Lowes

Thanks for the responses! Is the sweet PDZ a similar consistency to sand? Would I be able to use a kitty litter scoop, just like you would with sand? Thanks!

It's a fairly fine consistency and I use a kitty litter scoop together with a wide flexible grout spreader type tool with no problems.
I get the big bag (25lbs I think offhand) from the horse department as it is cheaper than the small one they sell for chickens

Great! Is there very much difference in the powder vs granule PDZ?

I'm not sure about a powder form as I've only ever used the granules, I'd be wary of how fine a powder would be, as a possible lung irritant, but maybe someone more knowledgeable would know.
