What kind of shavings/litter do you use your coop?

pine shavings. I figure I will be buying them for the horse so I can buy a bag for the chickens too

Yikes. Sounds like I better get rid of the cedar. Funny, I swear I read it was ok to use cedar in the Storeys Guide. Maybe it was pine... Thanks for the advice.

I use pine shavings, works great!!

I use pine chips that my husband makes me with his wood chipper. They come out small enough to spread around and be absorbent and large enough that the chicks can't eat them.
