what kind of snake am I?

oh hes in pieces. my friend was coming to get him for us and take him to her wooded area and release him... but she didnt show so we had to deal ourselves... one held one chopped and both screamed.

OMG that is sooo funny and quite the visual...and I must say, if it had eaten my chicks, I probably would have had to commit a homicde as well...
 
OMG! That was a highly poisonous (and deadly) gray and white Mamba. The black Mamba and the green Mamba are quite common in Africa, and they kill a lot of people. However, the gray and white Mambas have recently established themselves in several areas of the US. They are nearly as deadly as the snow Cobras that we have here in South Dakota. It's a lucky thing that snow Cobras are only active in the most extreme cold temperatures in winter. We are all bundled up in our winter gear, and it's very rare that the fangs are able to penetrate through all our clothing. It's terrifying to see one of them rear up out of a snowbank and strike. On days when the temperature is well below 0, very few living things are out traveling because of the fear of being bitten.
