what kind of wire is best for a chicken run?

At Tractor Supply, the hardware cloth isn't TOO much more expensive than poultry wire and after doing mine with poultry wire (except for the top) I would definately recommend the hardware cloth. It will save you extra money and headaches in the long run.

I was just going to ask about the best wire. I think poultry cloth way I should go. It doesn’t seem much more expensive. My run will be 25 x8. So don’t even know how to figure that. Will probably have to depend on my neighbor to help with that. I would like a door to get in the run and thought maybe Restore May have something I could utilize for that. I’m pretty much on my own and just learning. Afraid to use the table saw but maybe I could get someone to do that for me. Thanks for the input
