Why are there extra feathers tied on to the tail feathers of the Roo in the foreground? If you zoom in, there appears to be 4 little feathers hanging off its tail feathers. If the extra feathers are real, then that one isn't a Leghorn.

No we tied nothing. It just happened last week the tail feather i thought maybe they were fighting and feathers fell off

Not positive on age i got them March 9th guessing maybe 16 weeks.

No he hasnt been able to go out to the coop with me we had snow and ice so only i have been able to and he wont touch them they are quite sqidish. They moved into coop 2 weeks ago and last weeks when i seen the weird tail feathers growing.

What kind of tail feathers do these look like on the bottom chicken?
Zoom in on them close.
I've never seen such peculiar feathers, they remind me of the streamer feathers on a silkie. Maybe they have been fighting?
