what kinds of ducks should i get?

I have 3 metzer ducks. Very healthy, but they are NOT show ducks. They are production quality ducks. If you aren't going to enter them at a fair, no problem.

The one drake in my picture is not from Metzer, he is from Holderreads. They have show ducks. I got him from someone else who placed a large order. He was one of her extra drakes. If they hatch out any young, he will be improving my flock.

Nettie has some Metzer runners. VERY cute, but again, not show ducks, but they lay A LOT of big eggs.

Here are 4 WH ducks, who came from Holderread this spring together with bantam ducks and two black runners

and now.

They are 5 months old, but still ... no eggs:

You will have eggs any day. Mine are a little older and they have just started laying.
