No, I do not remember when when it was legal to keep slaves or beat your wife with a stick and neither do you.
Your opinion of my morals and ethics are irrevelant. Fact of the matter is that in my state if your dog is inside my fence YOU are in violation of the law, not ME. How I deal with it is my decision and subject to Grand Jury scrutiny if my actions are questionable.

I am under no fiduciary duty concerning your roaming dog.
For your dog's safety YOU should do a better job of protecting YOUR dog by keeping it away from MY animals.

anybody thought about using stun gun? The police use a stun gun on a bad dog that was going around the houses wild,no body could catch,even with traps no one could get close enough,police friends of mine told me they hate to use there guns. so they got close enough to stun the dog,drop it in his tracks then taken to the dog pound,only one that i heard of,beats killing a dog with a gun

Interesting idea. If the irresponsible dog owner provided me with a tazer or mace or bean bags or high preassure hoses or blow darts I would totally do my best to utilize those less than lethal options on their dog. I am not going to go out of my way to invest more money in purchasing those items. I will use what I have already purchased for home protection. I've already invested in good quality fencings, posts, gates, latches and LGDs to protect my farm. I am just not willing to go to further expenses to deal with somebody else's irresponsibility. I might as well pay to have their land fenced. It's just not my duty to protect their dog. It's my duty to protect MY animals and land.

Lol one time I got fed up at my lab and threw a small rock at him. He neatly side stepped it and ran to pick it up then trotted it over to me and set it down with a look like 'here mom, try again' it was hard to stay mad at him after that lol!!!
