What love is to a child (More touching than funny, but enjoyable)

I wrote What Is Love? on the white board in class so when the kids come in tomorrow that is the first thing they'll see. They know when I have something on the board it means bell-work is write for 15 minutes on that subject. I'm dying to see what my 11-13 year olds will say!

SHARE!!! C'mon writer! Those were wonderful.

I write little notes on my kids lunch napkins. They never said Boo about it until I forgot!

"The note gives me a mommy love refill to get me through the rest of the day!" Jessica age 6

I'l never forget again!

I edited for spelling but not content.

From my 6th graders today:

Love is when you get married and never get divorced and you really love them.

Love is something deep inside of you many people don't know what love really is, they just think it's something called "crush" but love is really when you have done something for someone that could have saved a life. People who don't know what love is are probably teens or pre-teens.

Love is when you help the person you are married with.

Love is when you help people and they don't have to pay you for it.

Love is helping kids in Africa because no one else cares.

Love is when you respect a person and you are truly honest with them even if it hurts you to be honest.

Love is not when you are nice to someone just because they are nice to you.

Love is when you don't even want to look at other girls.

I think love is when you love someone from the inside out and not how they look.
