DH was splitting wood and found a log with a bunch of termite maggots in it. I got a bunch out for the chickens. I'll bet there are more, so I might work at them a bit more in a couple days.

(Rubbing hands together with glee, thinking of the chickens eating those #$@% maggots!)

I have a spitzenhauben hen, "Regan Tropfen" and she always wants to be held. When I hold her, she closes her eyes and waits for me to pet her face feathers, like she is at a spa. I think she thinks I am telling her how pretty she is when I do this. She love it.
