Stupid cat ran out into 19 degree weather and snow this morning. He's never seen snow or temps that low in his entire life.

He was back half an hour later yowling to be let back in.

Wonderful! And good for her for getting the surgery. I know many women that have refused it and it did them no good. Prayers that she keeps getting better!

It was another beautiful day, and it got up to 70 degrees. Probably the last one this year.

Another beautiful day here in northern Ohio. And it's my husband's birthday, so I can actually grill him the hamburgers he wants for dinner, without freezing my tookus off!

DH had an ophthalmologist appointment, and everything looks great.

I finally ordered new glasses. A biiiit of sticker shock, but I liked the really (REALLY) expensive frames the best, of course. I figure I'll have these frames for many years and keep them through several prescriptions, so not as bad as it seems.

I was able to provide my friend with a laying hen as most of hers are getting older and nearing the end of their laying. She introduced me to chickens and has provided me with eggs for the past several years so it feels great to now have my own flock and be able to help her out. This is actually the second hen I've given her and it feels good to know they are in a good home.
