No idea why it posted twice. It was a nice walk though!

My dad and I went to our local art gallery to see an exhibit using egg tempora paint techniques. Ran into a friend there, and had a nice visit.

What WILL make me happy is getting the mite treatment into our bee hive without incident.

And... it went absolutely great! In and out in just a few minutes, so we didn't get hot in the suits, and NO STINGS!

It looks like the bees are doing well, too.

Saw another BYC member today. Again they did not leave empty handed.

One of our granddaughters has been here for the last two days. She is picking up the stuff we brought back from Syracuse when she graduated. August 1 she heads to graduate school in Ca. Times together will be far less frequent in the future.

Eating the first hssiao his hung shih tomato from my vine. I love those sweet little yellow tomatoes.

One of my "chores" as a teenager was snipping beans. My mom's mom was "the fastest bean snipper in Central Lake." I was pretty good at it too. Fond memories.
