One of my "chores" as a teenager was snipping beans. My mom's mom was "the fastest bean snipper in Central Lake." I was pretty good at it too. Fond memories.

At least with beans, you had something to show for your work! Big bag of beans = big bowl of beans. Big bag of peas = tiny bowl of peas!

I picked my first two large tomatoes today!

A ground hog ate half of the bigger one!

I ate the other half!

I've seen quite a few groundhogs on my property this year. So far they haven't touched my garden. I've been eating the ripe tomatoes as fast as they ripen.

There are a lot of groundhogs here, but they haven't eaten anything out of the garden yet.

We had a groundhog but he only ate the squash and cilantro. Not the tomatoes, peppers, or eggplant. And we put repel all though. But something came back. Maybe bunnies.

My boss has a black groundhog on her property. He hasn't bothered her garden but he's cool looking
