What made you happy today?

No school today! It's NEOEA Day. Which stands for Northeast Ohio Education Association. Which just means professional development for the teachers. But a day off for the students and lunch ladies

I took over the smallest upstairs bedroom. The builder didn't want me to freeze to death in the greenhouse.

I may even have a kitchen by Christmas.

I know this is a late reply, but we waited 1 year for counter tops (under counter kitchen sink).
So we spent 1 year washing dishes outside on a board sitting on 2 saw horses.
It really could have been worse, Hayden put a hose from the hot water heater to the wash table. So we had hot and cold running water to the make shift table and tub, that made things sooo much easier, until winter. In the few cold weeks we get Hayden volunteered to wash the dishes every night.

I'm looking forward to the day when I can do that. It may even be before the end of the year!

Wish mine were. Some have been in pots so long that they have little clusters of Muscadines on them now.

I usually air dry my clothes anyway. It's better for the environment and the clothes smell nice afterwards.

I got a really good tip while doing some deliveries today. It wasn't money directly, but it was a free car wash that I needed and would have had to spend money on.
