I took a nap after school, then it was dinner time, and my mom made a roast beef is one of my favorite meats, so that’s what made me smile today. My mom is a good cook.

My GirlChild did not graduate with her class, mostly bc of covid, and today was her last day of adult school to get her diploma, yes, diploma, she did not want a GED. She's worked hard for this and I'm very proud of her.

I'm glad she got what she wanted. That said, I dropped out for the GED. Just couldn't take HS anymore.

When my son was in HS, it seemed a lot of the brighter kids took that route. I totally got it. (He did stay in, IIRC.)

Thanks for the compliment, but it was not brightness on my part. More laziness, Mono got me a county home-school teacher 2-3 days a week and I thought how much easier it was - let's just finish this.
