Seeing and hearing the disapproval and severe disappointment in my chickens restriction to free roaming after yesterday’s fiasco they put me through getting them all back in the coop after seeing a hawk. On an injured knee, limping around the yard yelling obscenities to birds. You ruined it for yourselves.

Hehe, oh the visual. I have n injured knee myself, so I can imagine.

The worst part was getting one of my older ones back, she was determined. No amount of grapes or crickets could convince her otherwise. Thankfully my mom showed up and assisted, it took herding her into my sunroom and a lot of squawking and mayhem to finally catch her. She has not forgiven me and I’m sure to be planning my demise.

After yesterdays no pep I woke up rip-rarin' to go, Whip-Poor-Will 25 yds out on the wood edge giving its last for the night before retiring for the day. Temps in the low to mid 80s, low humidity.....comeon daybreak! Things to do!
