Saw a production of "South Pacific", and everyone was masked.

I went to the coin laundry with my wife and when we pulled up there was a young lady with two bags she was carrying . I rushed and opened the door as I always do for anyone and she thanked me , I had to look behind me , I thought she was talking to someone else . I felt blessed .

I'm a door opener too. It's sad the number of folks who fail to acknowledge the fact that you exist.

Yesterday The Man and I dropped off our 14-yo grandson at the Christian academy he will be attending through his high school years. He's very excited and happy to be there and we're very happy for him. We think this is going to be a great blessing for him. We are grateful that the Lord has made this opportunity available, it's a very good school.

You know some people walk through life looking away from people they don't know.
That person you walked by avoiding eye contact or didn't open the door cause you don't know them may be giving you an interview some day. May set the tone for something in the future or simply make someone's day.

Exactly this! DH was interviewing for a job, and the guy remembered him from another time/place. He said DH was always pleasant and took the time to answer questions and just be generally helpful.

Yup, he got the job and they really appreciate him.
