What made you happy today?

Had an excellent lunch out with friends.

Another good day with flock of 4 and flock of 5 meeting across the hardware cloth. A few curious looks. Two golden EEs tried to peck at a brown EE through the hardware cloth (they couldn't). They seemed baffled. "Why can't I peck her? It's like she has some force field shielding her." The brown EE stood her ground for a bit. I think she looked amused. The goldens gave up and she wandered off. Everyone else ignored each other. Getting better!

After a nice 'family' Christmas yesterday, all have finally left. The silence is deafening.

Cool, cloudy winter weather made me happy! It’s nice to have a seasonal day!!

Went for a nice long hour long bike ride. On top of that, I made some whipped cream that tasted ok, so I'm pretty happy about that. It didn't look super fancy though.

Sunshine made me happy. I didn't go for a 2 mile walk as I have in the past though. My knee is still slightly sore, and I didn't want to chance doing something to it.

And that's the other thing that made me happy: My knee is about 80% better.

Just saw two deer cross the road right in front of us. deer aren’t exactly rare here but it’s still not super common to see them out, at least for me.

They're everywhere here. It's far less common for me not to see deer in my yard than to see them.

We have a lot of woods around so they can hide fairly easily lol
