What made you happy today?

Today was our "daughter's" last chemo treatment. (One of our best friends; young enough to be our daughter.) I tied balloons to her front door for when she came home.

Chemo is rough. Not as rough as it was 40 years ago when I watched my mom go through it, but I'm glad she's done with it.

Your turkeys or just random flock

Wild turkeys , they seem to not be afraid of me when I am on the lawn mower . They are big . I also see a flock with mixed sizes and ages of birds . The deer come up in the yard and play . Sometimes I think they know we are not going to hurt them . We enjoy watching them walk around and play .

I got most of the weeds pulled in my heavy soil garden. It rained recently, so the weeds actually come out of the soil.
