I got to see brand new baby floofers today...first time ever.

I had 3 watermelons in the garden, and I was sure they hadn't ripened, as the vine was long dead. I brought them in, cut one open... it IS ripe! Well, ripe-ish. Not really sweet, but certainly edible. I'm saving the seeds for the chickens.

If your watermelon has bright yellow spots from where it was sitting, it is a signal it sweet to eat!

Man I want some watermelon now! Lately I find my grocery stores lack of having sweet watermelon. Every watermelon my mom picked were had no taste. I felt like I was chewing fruit flesh of just water. :/
