What made you happy today?

My parents have been dealing with this loan and this issue with tax. I won't go into detail, but it has costed sleepless nights, lots of calls, and having to rush our loan agent. Today my dad set back the deadline for 60 more days so that we would be able to complete the loan. And TODAY was the deadline! I know this probably won't make much sense and I know that the sleepless nights would not be returned, but at least my parents don't need to stress anymore. That made me really happy today.

Saw major improvement in 4 pups that I have been working for a friend who just had knee surgery.

Completed 2 Christmas cards! Two more to go! May have to redo the horse one, but the next one should be a Christmas deer or owl.

When I got my braces off, I couldn't believe how much extra SPACE there was in my mouth!

Indeed, the loan agent is making me quite annoyed though. I have been watching my mom stressing over it and I have heard their conversations. Throughout the calls, she kept assuring us that the loan would definitely come through BEFORE the deadline. And it was on morning of the deadline, that she told us it wasn't possible! Its just annoying how she is bringing out all the problems on the DAY OF the deadline! She had 60 days prior to do this. And the fact that we would have had to pay a LOT of money in tax if the loan wasn't successful, is just ridiculous. She just wasn't that professional. But anyways, yeah, I do like to ask my parents about things they are dealing with, because I like to learn as well.

Good for you. You can learn lots of lessons that will be useful in the future. Both how to do things and how NOT to do them.

Lessons will keep coming around until you learn them, IMO. It is sooo much easier to learn them early on, because each time they come back around, it's a little harder and harsher. If you can learn from someone else's example, that's about as easy as it's likely to be.

That reminds me! My brother got a custom chess board once. Probably not quite the same. He never lets me touch it. We only play on the back up boards. I do love chess though!
