I started really slow this morning…. Sore? Yes.

So here’s the place both compost boxes were.


See the small black plastic “box” on left side? That’s one of the original “composers” my Better-half got a decade ago. It is now relegated to the job title of “stage 1, kitchen scraps & small stuff” that once full will get transferred to one or both the big ones.


Those big ones are now way out back, see the blue arrow?
The purple arrow is showing what’s left of the stone/rock pile that I’ve been pulling from to tetris inside the cinder block foundation ring for the wellhouse version 2.0.
The two big rocks in front are size examples
is in excess of 1300lbs
Red circle is between 500 & 800lbs
The Cub’s FEL* has a weight limit of ~1100lbs before the hydraulic pump does the “bleed off” to protect the system.

Here is the tetrising job so far…. There will be a layer of gravel that will get dumped & leveled over them once cementing of the cinder blocks is done.


Now, today…. I’m waiting for these girls to decide who’s gonna drop an egg today & who’s gonna be next… then I’ll get to give a fresh lime-wash coating inside the coop again.

I don't do pictures, and she no longer looks like the lining of a winter coat. While at the vet's I mentioned that her skin would make a great coat lining. He just rolled his eyes and looked at Elaine with sympathy. Yeah, he's known me probably 60 years.
