My laundry on the line got two free rinses, courtesy of Mother Nature.

I canned the last batch of salsa and put the canning equipment away for the year! I did not need to buy any tomatoes! Also

Ok, I might can some applesauce in a month or so. And, yeah, I'll have to buy apples.

Second rainy day in a row hasn't happened since last spring! And a break from heat, broke so many records for over 100's what a summer! Never seen a year when green beans won't grow! Poopy La Nina.

My Swan food came in. I thought there was going to be a shortage.

I have indoor toilets! And showers too, though no hot water yet.

My first shower in my new home. I still won't be able to move in until the end of the year, but I got hot water today, and the showers and toilets are installed.

Oh, it was glorious having my first real shower in far too long.

Made an offhand comment to my mom about how a local instrument store was offering sales on their cases and bass guitars, and was met with, "Well, you'd better grab things while they're still in business. Send me with money and I'll pick them up for you."

Not that I need permission to spend my own money, but knowing she supports my bad habits is wonderful.

Also I found a tasty sushi roll made with eel and avocado. It's the little things in life...
