What made you happy today?

Excited for this weekend. Going to do some serious gardening. Starting tomorrow morning with garage sales around our area

Garage sales are GREAT places to find garden stuff!

There is a neighborhood garage sale in Lowell, MI, the first weekend of May, called the Grand Slam. I plan to go at least one day, maybe two. I have a few things I'm looking for specifically, but you never know what you'll find.

Neither layer flock had their coop door shut last night and started free ranging at dawn. I really messed up last night.... The RIR pen has already laid a lot of big eggs without my help. Delaware hens have lined up for a turn to enter the roll out nest box. I admire them for being patient with each other. I'm really happy and this it what made me the most happy early this morning. My Bresse hen that has been injured so bad is walking, eating, and drinking. She's even singing a little now. The shock has worn off finally.

The sales are in the neighborhood of the lake houses so I’m hoping to find some cool decor or stuff in general

It's raining hard and steady. The happy thing is It's not snow... so far.

We found out that we are allowed to sell eggs at a local farmers market 2 days a week.

Might not need to get a $25K loan after all....

Went to the grocery store and got more strawberry lemonade

Cleaned out my shed this morning.

We finally had our 'Easter brunch' with our daughter. Food was great, and so is she.
