Now I want to try deer and antelope chili. I usually make bison or quail.

The antelope has a tint of sage in it. I can make antelope sausage by grinding antelope with pork fat and adding all the seasonings except sage. You can't tell the difference from good pork sausage.

Ground antelope is really good for chili.

So is elk. And bison

Our 26th anniversary
He’s still putting up with me
And we worked around the farm all day, and had a simple and fabulous Thai dinner out to wrap up the evening-
All I have left is to put the ducks to bed!
Turkeys and horses are set for the night.

I’ve been officially approved to get new barn cats!!
We lost our last outside kitty about 2 years ago. Never had issues w rodents when we had outside kitties.
The hairless (inside only) kitty will catch a mouse occasionally, not kill it, but bring it to us an drop it at our feet
Picking up kittens tomorrow or wednesday
The mice are overtaking our entire world- we need help. The rodents have figured out the snap traps.
Hanging feeders aren’t doing the trick. Proper cleaning of coops, and the house- aren’t doing the trick.
I might end up bringing home all 3 of the short hair boys. I’d be in trouble for that but.
