I do too. Although technically I don’t atm because my A1C is below the threshold now. But still. It’s not “normal” yet either. So still gotta be careful. I did have a piece of that exact pie yesterday. Except it also had blueberries (shaped like a flag) but I had the strawberry rhubarb part.

Crawling under roost bars in the pen with my main flock getting a tarp tied down before bad weather. The happiness comes from my several roosters in this flock and the hens. They all came to see what I was doing and kept cleaning the shavings off my legs. My two oldest at 3yrs old where as usual for me on their best behavior and just wanted to what I was doing and if they could help.

Not pretty, but should taste good. They're still cooling. The one that bubbled over was my fault. It needed more browning so I left it in the oven and turned the temperature up to 450°.
