It’s sunny, warm, a bit of humidity…. All in all a marvellous late September day. That makes me happy

I have honey! It makes me happy because I like using Korean recipes, and a lot of them call for honey. You can use regular sugar, but it's just not the same.

Chickens learn surprisingly quickly. The guest chickens have only been here for four days, but they have learned the coop routine pretty well. It only took me about 15 minutes to get all of them into the coop tonight compared to the nearly hour and a half the first night.

I'll be glad when the guest chickens go home tomorrow night, though.

My dog sat today. That's a story but not for here, it's a major milestone in her social development.

And, I walked around the house TWICE.

And my new rice cooker came.

Worked on organizing the garage - a long way to go but making good progress.

Every chicken laid an egg today - that hasn't happened in over a week! I think we might be getting ready for a molt as feathers are looking a little scroungy and someone is getting crabby.
