No rain yet today but I heard some good thunder. I haven't heard any thunder in months!

Spring is still 20 days away but the thunder makes me think of this beautiful song from Bambi. I've loved it ever since I was a kid. The vocals and music that make up the storm are brilliant and the classic hand-drawn animation is gorgeous.

Had to go to work today, but what makes me happy Every morning is chicken chores and the benefits. It's rainy, windy and 48 degrees. I love greeting the birds as they come out of the coop, into the run, which is a geodome. Quick cleanup of the coop every morning, then sit in the run with the birds, waiting to be held. SO, lap time is happy time.
