I got 3 EE pullets and 3 leghorn Pullets

i have 9 Leghorns 5 white & 4 brown, usually get 1 egg a day from each of them, this morning i found 10 eggs! is it possible that a hen can lay 2 eggs within a 24 period? I have other chicken breeds as well however none of my other Heritage birds did this???
