What made you happy today?

Finished building a small chicken tractor, of sorts. :yesss: It's a mobile pen with a removable hardware cloth divider. Been working on it for two weeks. We're going to use it as a getting-to-know-you pen, neutral ground for an eventual re-integration of our flock of twelve (we hope! 🙏 ) which has been divided into three groups due to bullying.

Yeah, I used to make yogurt in quart jars, and just put them in a box lined with towels. The Instant Pot will keep the milk at a steady temp for 8 hours, no problem.
That's why I use my yogurt makers. One was a Christmas present last year and the other was $5 at a garage sale. Both came with jars and lids

Lol. Betty on a Yeti!

I made yogurt in my Instant Pot today!

I make it in my crockpot. Probably the same idea. The best part is getting to strain it until it's nice and thick, almost like cheese.

I just got my IP last week. I like to make yogurt in half-pint jars. Can I do that in my IP?

I got a yogurt maker at a yard sale a couple years ago but I don't think it works. ☹️ I'm going to try making some tomorrow in my oven, set on Bread Proof. Will that be warm enough? I used to do it in the oven with the incandescent light on and it worked great but today's bulbs don't get warm. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Since my 2nd refrigerator is empty of eggs, I have room for yogurt!

What made me happy today? I showed two of my dogs an egg today and they both showed an instant aversion toward it. Several months ago I set up a "nest" of eggs that I had hot-wired to give a mild electric shock if touched. I'm happy to know it left a lasting impression.
