What makes 21 days?

OK, This may seem like an odd question but what makes 21 days? Its like this, I put eggs in my incubator on March 8th at 4:00 PM. I am not counting that day as one day. I'm going to the next day (24 hrs) as one day, right? So that would make my 18th day on the 26th and my hatch date on the 29th right?

Yep, I count by hours. It makes the most sense to me. The 29th at 4pm is the end of your 21st day.

glad you asked this cause i was wondering the same thing!

It isn't exact, of course, but if I put eggs in anytime noon or after, then I count the next day as Day One. If I put them in the bator in the morning hours, I always count that very day as Day One. Works out well for me and I always get pips on Day 20 anyway and usually at least one or two hatched fully before Day 21 even starts.

So I should take them out of the turning on or after the 18th day?

I did mine at 18.5 days.

480 to 504 hours from setting is the norm

I usually take mine out anytime on Day 18 and once even did it at the end of Day 17, for convenience sake.

I read somewhere that it's not even necessary to turn past 14 days, though I keep doing it, lol.
