What makes you crazy?

One thing that DRIVES me CRAZY is when people go 40 in a 60mph zone and you cant pass the car cuz the opposite line is busy or you have a solid line! I live on a State Road so it's only 1 line each traffic direction.

The neighbors' dogs. No one pens up their dogs (well, I do, but that's beside the point). No, they don't get in my backyard anymore (I love my pellet gun

), but yesterday, 4 of them stood in the middle of the street in front of my house and barked - for HOURS!! My poor dogs are going insane and taking me right along with them. I could rant for quite a while on this one. I've made myself physically sick this week over them already. So I will just wander off to scream somewhere.

Yes!!!Or when you and another are passing, you utter, "Pardon me", and the other just blows on by, like it is their god given right to pass. Ugh.

BTW. Just got back from the UK, and if it bothers you there, the States are much worse (worse some places than others, but I have seen a sharp decline in manners over the years). Very sad.

I do very much appreciate good manners, in people and their pets. I will never forget 'reminding' my then young DDs in a store to 'mind your manners.' An elderly lady walked up and said that she thought that no one even knew what manners were anymore and she thanked me for trying to teach good manners to my children. I have told my children that I can tolerate ignorance and silliness, but never will I tolerate rudeness.
And, on that note, I will now apologize for hijaking this thread for yet another little rant. I apoligize. *submissively backing away now*

Losing yet another drop off kitten(we have 5 now) to an unknown disease when she was getting better, or so I thought.

I've got to stay up another 3 hours to get chicken feed and all I want to do is crawl in bed and cry more. I don't want to even get into my poor children and this.
Trying to help when I obviously cannot due to lack of funds for expensive care X 5 just because someone didn't want to deal with very young kittens makes me crazy. (Retired vet tech.)

And no, I haven't read any replies, just saw the title and needed to vent.

Because they teach you in driver's ed, to stop far enough behind, to see where the back tires of the car in front of you touch the pavement.

Not only that, but in today's world of carjackings, having an open route, out of your lane of traffic, could save your life.
Having ridden a motorcycle, and seeing some motorcylclists stop, right on the bumper, of the car, in front of them, I think, how stupid. Even if they could see a rearender coming, they couldn't escape.

Thanks,
I've got one kitty purring on my shoulder and another one at my feet right now. I have fibro and have spent 4 hour plus on the floor with this little one. I am going to hurt, that's for sure.
For now...one is purring and leeping on my shoulder, the other one at my feet..One is sleeping where she loves to be and yet another one is outside where she's more comfortable, but older. 6 mos.
The oldest drop off has been here for years and she's fully grown and fat. I'm sure she's taken my side of the bed again.

It's going to be a LONG day tomorrow..and I've been up since 9am yesterday. It's worth it with these little babies, just very tiring.

The carjacking thing is a valid excuse, and that is certainly appropriate at times. All of our personal safety is obviously of the utmost importance. But in the middle of town, in afternoon traffic--just not the place for this kind of stuff. I know it depends on where you live. But a little common sense goes a very long way.

And I certainly don't advocate pulling right up to the rear of the car in front of you. Simply stated, a little space is good. A lot of space is just a menace. It only takes a few people overdoing the space thing to completely block the turning lanes. Then everyone is gridlocked and -if god forbid you needed to get out of there- you are completely hosed.
