She should have white skin as a Marans. Check the soles of her feet. Tell me what color they are.

So here she is at 6 months, 1 week.
Sorry for the bad pictures, she’s very skiddish.

at 6 months, 1 week, and 5 days, (12-30-21) she laid her first egg. And 2 days later, at 6 months and 2 weeks, (12-28-21) she laid her 2nd egg.
Her first egg is on the left, her second on the right. What do we think?

Those eggs are beautiful! You have a lovely Marans! I have one blue copper marans and she has slate legs and white feet too. She was also blue and white for a long time but is now all blue. I can’t wait till she lays an egg! Congrats!

Yes mine looks the same but has a little copper on the back her name is big mama. She thinks she is big stuff lmao. Found this when I pulled in the drive way she came running and hoped up to see me.

Just saw your original post. When chicks are coloured like that, the white bellies with top black (penguin pattern), it is a good indication she's pure for extended E on the e locus also beautiful bird and cool looking eggs
