You're correct on the de-worming. As for other illnesses, just make sure you have good bio-security. Clean environment and living conditions, etc. I've had chickens for six years and mine have never gotten an illness. Keeping chickens healthy is very easy, and doesn't violate organic hens, actually it is a bonus.So if my chickens get worms, I can use something like Invermectin, but I should not give them any de-worming treatment without the signs of an actual infection? Are there any preventative treatments for common chicken maladies that don't violate "organic" rules?
