There's no doubt in my mind this little booger from Meyer Hatchery is a cross of some sort, which leads me to believe she's a Sage Gem. Since the hybrid description doesn't specify what breeds went into the development, only stating that they lay olive/moss/green/brown, I did a little thinking. Coloration of a female EE, slight beard/muffs, blue legs, single comb, and heavily feathered legs. Is it possible she's a Cochin X EE? That cross could produce a green egger, right? Asking solely out of curiosity, rather than necessity. :)

Yes duccles have slate legs and heavily feathered feet.
I breed duccles and can almost vary tee that’s what you have.

It’s more likely she’s a d’Uccle then a cross :)

Edit: obviously I could be wrong. Her feet are very heavily feathered though, which you don’t see in many other breeds. If she was a crossbred with only one feather footed parent I would expect her to have a lot less feathering.

Why was I under the impression the breed sported pink legs all these years? A quick check on all my d'Uccles proved they indeed have slate.

I would agree. :) Only reason I suspected she's a cross was because Meyer recently started carrying a hybrid called the "Sage Gem bantam," and nothing else seemed to match.

Makes sense to me.

Here's another shot, showing her back region - still thinking BC d'Uccle?
