What mix of dog do you think I am??

Petchickenlover - Yours looks like an aussie mix too, but I would def say the mix was with a german shep... such a GS face and ears.
The first one, thats funny Jamie, that you say beagle, cause I was kinda thinking either a beagle or terrier cross because of the face shape..the tail... and she also has the longer ears. Her face is shaped just like my jacks are, and beagles are very similar. I also think she isen't going to get that big.. maybe DH will let you keep a medium-ish dog?

I vote for one parent an aussie, and one a beagle/setter or terrier/lab mix. That might also explain the recessiveness of the yellow color.
Sweet eyes.... I want her

Catahoula and Australian shepherd would be my guess. I'm not sure how the merle gene would manifest itself if one parent was a solid color labrador, but that's just me.

These are all good guesses, except remember this is about a 4 month old puppy that ONLY weighs 10-15 pounds, if this was a Catahoula/Aussie mix or a GSD/Aussie mix the puppy would weigh in the 20-30 pound range for these mixes, at around 16 weeks of age. Catahoulas are large dogs when full grown, Aussies tend to be in the medium size range though they do come in 80+ pounds as well. GSD will weigh anywhere from 75-105 pounds when an adult.

I am still throwing English setter out there.. look at pics of them.. she has the face and ears along those lines too.. narrow-ish...
AND they have merling as well.

BUT - you can get some mighty odd variations when you cross a breed or breeds. And these guesses are assuming an ancestor wasn't a, shall we say, blend of breeds.

Another thought. These pups may or may not have been properly fed from birth, so we could be looking at stunted pups.

She's a pretty girl! Hard to imagine somebody dumping catahoula mixes - even as a mix, I'd think they'd be worth some $$.

Her coloring does look a lot like my Mini Aussie, Jack, who weighs about 20lbs. She has more of a setter or hound look to her face and ears, though.
